I spent the past 8 hours tossing and turning, dozing for 20 or 30 minutes, and then going back to full-state panic that I wasn't sleeping. All. Night. Long.

The next time, don't stress or panic. One of the elite skiers here had insomnia, especially the night before important competitions, and I remember their physician saying that the most important thing was getting some rest - it doesn't matter all that much whether you actually sleep. So snuggle up and try to think about something nice the next time this hits you! ;)
